“Bouquet” (2020)

Simple things can bring the most peace and joy. Arranging a fresh bouquet is a sensory experience that has always brought me calm, bliss. Each stem is intentionally trimmed and homed to add to the array of blooms. Like artwork, curated bouquets throughout my home catch your eye and make you pause to take in their beauty. Enjoying the moment of florals resting before they gracefully stand in vases inspired this work and others soon to come. This piece is both vibrant and peaceful. The contrast of the green background and pink hues of the bouquet give endless possibilities for designing a space around this piece.

Fresh Fog | Original
$18,800.00

“Fresh Fog” (2020)

Dense, rolling, and encompassing mists. Peeks of Pacific Northwest pines. Fresh, deep breaths add to the billowing haze. Surrounding yourself in a forest as haze dances around relieves the mind. Your eyes stop trying to search and begin to admire. Its an awakening only those who submiss to the fog will understand.

This painting was started and completed during quarantine from the pandemic. My SW Portland home allowed for expansive views of the hill we lived on that was covered in pines and scattered homes from the front window. From our back patio, a breathtaking view of the Willamette River that reflected bridges, the sky, and statuesque Mt. Hood. This artwork hangs in the living room of our California home to take us back to our beloved Portland, OR.

Zen in Green | Original
$4,800.00

“Zen in Green” (2021)

Array of lush, tropical leaves on a muted, grey-blue background. Depths of green and textured brush strokes guide you to escape. This piece is inspired by the large vibrant plants that inhabit Hawaii and disguise structures into secret hideouts. The soft empty background allows you to imagine your own hideout that lies behind the leaves until your next tropical vacation.

Subtle Strength | Original
$12,600.00

“Subtle Strength” (2024)

Bamboo symbolizes strength, prosperity, and flexibility in feng shui. Painting these few stalks - compared to the towering forests bamboo is usually depicted in - Reminds that strength is not only in numbers, but starts with a few brave enough to prosper and grow despite the woes of life. The gentle, dusty-blue background allows the muted greens of the bamboo to stand out while collectively making this piece a tranquilly, inspiring addition to any bedroom, study, foyer, or powder room of your home or office.

Happy Place | Original

“Happy Place” (2021)

Woman sitting on an empty beach. Gentle, rhythmic tides smooth the shore. Overcast blankets the sky. The wind dances with the green ribbon on her hat.

From childhood, there was nothing better than visiting the beach before the break of sunshine in the afternoon. The cloudy skies, chilly waters, and cold sand deterred the masses leaving the beach and ocean to her true lovers like me. Still, one of my favorite ways to enjoy the beach or any coast. The only thing that makes me a morning person.

Do Not Disturb | Original
$6,800.00

“Do Not Disturb” (2021)

A trek to nowhere. All the work, to do nothing. Crackling of wood. Campfire aroma that will linger beyond return to the mundane.

Painting this piece took some time because I craved to be back camping each session I worked on it. Emphasizing the contrast of the sunset sky, shadowed mountains, piercing river, and glowing fire - brings attention to my favorite campsite moments. Exchanging the rat-race for the race against sunset, the grounding into Mother Nature, and tapping into primal instincts for warmth and cooking. I love being able to connect with the Earth and leave the bustle behind. This piece highlights these joys and definitely urges you to plan the next adventure.
